Biography

The Airchild Production concept primarily represents the work of Martin Wintle, a Gloucestershire based composer/ musician/producer with great natural talent and undiscovered potential.

Being a ‘misunderstood’ music prodigy at the age of 11, Martin started composing in the Eighties, which, being keyboard dominated, resulted in his first simple ‘Electro’ pop compositions. Along the way he picked up accreditations from the Technics Academy

Through his twenties Martin has continued to form his own bands, notably gaining a residency at the Club chain Jumpin’ Jacks.

Over the last 18 months Martin has been working with George Shilling (A list producerGabrielle, The Proclaimers) in developing the most marketable sound for tracks that George selected as being the most viable for submissions.

To date, Martin has a vault of multi-genre music available (electro pop, dance – techno, house, r and b, retro-disco, melodic rock, funk, soul), with some 50 tracks completed.

Here submitted are 7 of the best and most commercial tracks, the first four having been studio mastered by George Shilling with the remaining three  mastered at home.

Martin comments ‘music is my life, it is my soul sanctuary. Over the years I have, I believe, honed my craft to the extent that I can produce hooky riffs and melodies quickly to order, frequently extending these to complete songs in a matter of days. My work has been well received by fellow professionals and audiences alike, and the most often occurring comment is that my songs and melodies are catchy’.

Musical influences: Prince (style and multi-accomplishments), Howard Jones (keyboards), Paul Young (bass riffs).
